In this issue we will explore how wicked the antediluvian world really became, and what kinds of wickedness led to the Flood. Additionally, the patriarch Enoch (Hhanoch), who is famous for God having taken him before his death, will be discussed.

Also this month’s Hebrew lesson will introduce some basic vocabulary from the first verse of Genesis. If you know the Hebrew alphabet, you will be able to begin reading the Hebrew text of the Bible.

April-June 2011, Issue #009

For April, May, and June, we will be discussing whether the Flood could have been avoided or not, and also the patriarch Methuselah (Methushelahh), the man who lived the longest.

Finally, the Hebrew vocabulary will continue into verse 2 of Genesis chapter one. What does the text mean when it says that the earth “was” formless and empty?
